Bad news, Manchester United: Real Madrid step up efforts to sign £155million star

Manchester United may have been dealt a blow to their transfer plans with reports in Spain claiming Real Madrid are set to offer Toni Kroos to Juventus in a bid to sign Paulo Dybala.
The Argentina international has impressed hugely in Serie A in recent times, with the Daily Mirror claiming earlier this season that United were big admirers of the £155million-rated attacker.
Still, it looks like Real are stepping up their own efforts to win the race for Dybala’s signature, and are prepared to let influential midfielder Kroos move to Juve in a swap deal, according to Don Balon .

United could do with a little more spark in attack next season if they are to close the gap on Manchester City, who look like running away with the Premier League title this year.
Other reports from Don Balon suggest United may be close to signing an alternative anyway, as it emerged yesterday that Antoine Griezmann has already chosen his squad number at Old Trafford after fresh talks with Jose Mourinho.
While Dybala is a fine player, United would be happy to end up with Griezmann instead, with more recent speculation suggesting they’re prioritising the Frenchman anyway.
It will mean, however, that Paul Pogba, or ‘Agent P’, couldn’t get the job done in his recent Facetime chat with Dybala, as he posted on his Instagram page to the excitement of United supporters.
Pogba knows Dybala well from his time at Juventus, but it seems they’re not set to be reunited in Manchester any time soon if Don Balon’s claimed swap deal ends up going through.

Hazard Shocks PSG!

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has dealt Paris Saint-Germain a major blow by insisting that he will only return to France to play for former club Lille.
Hazard has scored 72 goals in 251 appearances for Chelsea since his debut back in 2012 but the 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for two consecutive summers.
It’s understood both Real Madrid and PSG have expressed a strong interest in the Belgian but he appears to have ended the latter’s hopes of a deal.
‘There are some big clubs, and it was an attractive league [Ligue 1] even when I played in it six years ago,’ Hazard told French outlet SFR Sport.
‘Big stars want to play in Ligue 1, and that is a good thing. But if I am to return, it will be to play for Lille – they are my club.
‘I still have a career to carve out, with a number of seasons ahead of me.’
PSG star Thomas Meunier, though, believes his international team-mate would fit in well at the Parc des Princes.
‘Eden and Neymar are on the same level of ability,’ he stated earlier this week.
‘Neymar loves to have the ball at his feet, and to create situations on his own. Eden was like that when he first started out.

"It's strange because I didn't finish that World Cup the way I wanted to. Obviously, I wanted to crown it with the title, but I neither won nor lost. I didn't finish the World Cup. My tournament ended with a serious injury and, unfortunately, I had to pay for that," Neymar added.
"That was a really bad week for me. I cried a lot and asked myself many times why it had happened. But eventually, you understand that everything that happens in life makes you stronger, even if it's not something you want at that particular time. It helps you to learn and prepare yourself better in the future.
"I think this World Cup is going to be huge for Brazilians. Personally, I'm going give everything I've got to win it."

Chelsea fans have noticed something impressive about Christensen's performance vs Swansea

Just a few weeks ago Chelsea were believed to be in a crisis.
But, since being hammered by Roma 3-0 in the Champions League at the end of October, Antonio Conte has managed to transform his side's fortunes.
Chelsea bounced back from that disappointment superbly as they won three of their next four games, including a win against Manchester United and a creditable draw at Anfield.
And Conte's men managed to make it an unbeaten November as they dispatched of Swansea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge last night, courtesy of a Antonio Rudiger header.
Chelsea's recent good form has propelled them to third in the Premier League table, but they are still 11 points behind runaway leaders, Manchester City.
CHRISTENSEN IMPRESSED V SWANSEA
Chelsea's good form in recent weeks has undoubtedly been down to their improvement in defence: they have kept four clean sheets and only conceded one goal from their past five fixtures.
A major reason for this could be attributed to the performances of Andreas Christensen, who has performed admirably in the past few weeks.
After spending two successful years at German club Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Danish defender is finally starting to establish himself as a first team regular at Chelsea.
He was superb once again against Swansea, and Chelsea fans have noticed something rather impressive with his performance on Wednesday night.
Christensen has been praised for his technical ability and composure on the ball, and that was once again on display last night.
Remarkably, Christensen did not lose possession on any one of the 45 passes he made.

"Among the candidates are players of the calibre of Ronaldo, Messi, Dybala, Buffon, Neymar, Sergio Ramos and Mbappé, as well as coaches such as Conte, Allegri, Mourinho and Zidane, each with their own collection of trophies.
"But it is not just players and coaches. Among others, there will also be directors from the leading clubs (Real Madrid, Monaco and Manchester United) and the agents who decided the fate of the transfer market last season (Mendes, Raiola and Lucci).
"Over the course of seven editions, past and present champions have come to Dubai to take part in the celebration of football in the Emirates and, for the 2017 edition, only the best will manage to fill their trophy cabinet with a Globe Soccer Award."
