Barcelona are ready to offer Arda Turan in exchange for Mesut Ozil according to a report. Ozil which will be out of contract at the end of the season has so far attracted interest from many European top clubs including Manchester United and Barcelona.
Since joining the gunners from Real Madrid in 2013, Ozil has scored 33 goals in 168 appearances for the gunners and has been a very vital part of the team. Olivier Giroud, his team mate regard him as one of Arsenal best.
‘He is our play-maker and a key player. ‘We have never questioned him, never. But you cannot be at the top level all the time. ‘Sometimes people expect the best from you every single game because you are a top player. I can understand that.
‘But we never had any doubts about his quality, that is for sure. ‘He has showed his commitment to Arsenal, of course. He is a top player and we need him.’
According to a report by the Daily Star , the Catalan giant are ready to offer Arda Turan in exchange for Ozil. Turan a long term Arsenal target has not played any official match this season for Barcelona due to Injuries.

“I am the coach and I trust the players and the medical team we have here,” the Barça coach Ernesto Valverde said on Tuesday.
“If there’s a problem, we look at it. If [Arda] has an ankle problem, he has an ankle problem. I don’t question a player’s injury. And from there, with the players I have available, I pick my team.”
Arsene Wenger the Gunners Boss has insisted that Mesut Ozil is not for sale in the January transfer window “unless something unbelievable happens”. But he will be wary of loosing him for free next season.
