Real Madrid are said to be leading the race to sign David Luiz from Chelsea.
According to the Daily Mail , Zinedine Zidane’s side are the front-runners to land Luiz, who is in something of a scrutinised position at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian international is currently sidelined with a knee injury but was not a favoured option under manager Antonio Conte prior to him sustaining the niggling problem.
Conte opted on many occasions to use Andreas Christensen ahead of Luiz and his faith has been rewarded, with the young Dane turning in some hugely impressive displays both defensively and technically.
Real Madrid appear to be keen on bolstering their defence through the addition of Luiz, but are not alone in their interest. According to the Daily Mail, Serie A giants Juventus are also keen to sign the former PSG man.
Luiz will need to fight for his place when he returns to full fitness but with the January transfer window looming, it would come as no surprise to see him depart from Stamford Bridge.
