Ronaldo Loses Record To La Liga Rival

As if things were not bad enough for Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, he has now lost one of his records to a La Liga rival.
The Portuguese is experiencing his worst start to a La Liga campaign since joining Los Blancos, having scored only one league goal so far.
His solitary strike came in a 2-1 win over Getafe, while he has drawn seven blanks in his eight league appearances this season after missing the first four games due to suspension.
Ronaldo has now also lost one of his records to Athletic Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz, who scored the equaliser in his side's 1-1 draw with Villarreal on Sunday. With that strike, the 36-year-old netted his 48th headed goal in La Liga, one more than Ronaldo, who now sits in second place with 47 headers, as pointed out by Sport.
The records on headed goals have been collected since the 2003/04 campaign, and Ronaldo's teammate Sergio Ramos appears in third spot on the list, having netted 33 times with his head in La Liga.

Overall, Aduriz has scored five goals in La Liga this season, four more than Ronaldo after the first 12 game weeks. Lionel Messi leads the La Liga goalscoring charts with 12 strikes.
