Barcelona star forward Lionel Messi has penned a new contract with club. The deal will see the player stay with the Spanish giants up until 2021.
The deal has since been confirmed by Barcelona, ending speculations about Messi's future at Camp Nou.
Messi joined The Catalans 17 years ago as a teenager, arriving from Newell's Old Boys.
He made his first appearance with Barca's senior team at the age of 16 during a friendly match FC Porto, before making his official debut a year later against Espanyol.
